Kyle Hayes (so. Pt. Pleasant, NJ/Pt. Pleasant Boro) took third place in the long jump at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships (Mar. 6-7). He recorded a leap of 22’ 5.75” (6.85 meters). Hayes was selected the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Field Athlete of the Week for the fifth time this season. He will compete at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track Championships on Friday-Saturday, March 13-14 at Rose-Hulman Institute in Terre Haute, IN. Hayes is eighth among the 14 qualifiers with a distance of 23’ 2.75” (7.08 meters), which he had at the Collegiate Track Conference (CTC) Championships (Feb. 14).
