Kyle Hayes (fr. Pt. Pleasant, NJ/Pt. Pleasant Boro) won the long jump at the Frank Colden Invitational (Feb. 2). His distance of 22’ 7.75” (6.90 meters) was better than the NCAA provisional (6.69 meters). It was the third time this season he had a provisional jump. His best leap was 7.10 meters at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 18). Hayes also took sixth place in the 200 meters (23.55) and seventh in the 55 meter dash (6.78).
