Aaron Braxton (so. Swedesboro, NJ/Kingway Reg.) earns his second straight Male Athlete of the Week honor after taking second place in the discus and breaking his own school record at the Danny Curran Invitational (Mar. 31). Braxton’s toss of 173’3” (52.81 meters) was better than the previous school mark of 167’10” (51.15 meters), which he set one week earlier. His throw was a NCAA automatic qualifier (172’3”, 52.50 meters). Braxton also came in second in the shot put with 50’10” (15.49 meters). He was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week.
