Kyle Hayes (so. Pt. Pleasant, NJ/Pt. Pleasant Boro) won the long jump at the Lehigh Covert Classic (Jan. 24). He had a winning leap of 22’ 7.25” (6.89 meters). Hayes was selected the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week. His longest jump this season is 22’ 9.25” (6.94 meters) at the New York City Gotham Cup (Jan. 17).
