Jessica Van Meter-Bergholz, now in her 15th year at Rowan, took on the new role of Senior Assistant Athletic Director for Finance and Business Operations in 2023.
Van Meter-Bergholz oversees the Athletics Business and Finance office, which manages the department's financial reporting, budget development and business operations. She monitors the daily fiscal functions of one of the University's largest budgets while managing 41 separate budget accounts that encompass every varsity team and support office. She also serves as the department's liaison to the University's accounting, accounts payable and procurement offices while tracking and reconciling all fundraising accounts for the Profs' 18 sports.

She joined the Rowan staff in 2010 when she received an NCAA Business Manager grant, becoming the first to hold the Athletics Business Manager position at Rowan. During her 13 years at Rowan, she has helped oversee the doubling of the department's operating budget while also implementing 16 program-specific budgets in the 2022 fiscal year.

A former student-athlete, the native of Stow Creek Township, NJ, in Cumberland County, earned her bachelor of science degree in hospitality and tourism management from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ, in 2008. She was a four-year member of the Devils' field hockey team, while also playing softball as a freshman.

Upon graduation, she worked in the private sector as a Group Sales and Wedding Coordinator and was part of the first class in the master's degree program of sports administration at FDU, receiving her degree in 2010.

Van Meter-Bergholz is currently an adjunct professor in Rowan's College of Business, being the first to teach the Intro to Sports Management class that started in 2020.

She is the co-owner of Van Meter's Christmas Tree Farm in her native Bridgeton, NJ, helping to manage the 200-acre farm and overseeing the operating expenses since 2009.
She also serves on the Alloway Township School Board of Education and volunteers as a T-Ball coach for the town’s athletic league.

Van Meter-Bergholz lives in Alloway Township, NJ, where she and her husband Daniel built their dream home. They have two sons, Sawyer and Eli, along with two dogs, Chase and Charlie.
