Jocelyn White is in her first season as an assistant coach at Rowan University. She will serve as the men’s and women’s throwing coach. White also works as a receptionist at St. Matthew’s Recreation Center.

White received her bachelor’s of arts degree in African American Studies from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2008. She competed in the discus, shot put and weight throw for the Tar Heels’ track and field team. White collected All-American honors in the discus and was named the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Freshman of the Year in 2005. She was a two-time Penn Relay Champion and a three-time All- ACC second team selection. White earned All-ACC honorable mention her senior year. She competed in the Junior Pan-American Games for the United States.

White resides in Glassboro, NJ.
