Vanita Moses is in her third season as an assistant coach for the Rowan University men's and women's track & field teams. She works with the Profs' throwers and has coached three conference champions. 
 
Moses competed at Division II Lock Haven University from 2008-12. She was a three-time Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) champion in the weight throw and she won the hammer throw in 2012. Moses competed at the 2012 NCAA Division II Championships in the hammer and finished 13th (168’ 2”, 51.26 m). She came in 11th (163’ 2”, 49.73 m) in the hammer at the 2011 Penn Relays.
 
Moses earned All-Region honors in the weight and hammer throws twice and also garnered the accolade for the shot put (outdoor) one time. She ended her career as the school record holder in the weight throw (58’ 6.75”, 17.84 m) and hammer throw (182’ 2”, 55.52 m). Moses also held the PSAC all-time and championship (58’ 1”, 17.70 m) marks in the weight throw. She received Lock Haven’s Charlotte E. Smith Award, which is given annually to a senior female student-athlete in recognition of her accomplishments in women's athletics, outstanding leadership and academic achievement.
 
A graduate of Neshaminy High School, Moses graduated from Lock Haven in 2012 with a degree in business.
