Minerva enters her third season at her alma mater as an assistant softball coach.
Minerva was the softball team’s starting shortstop for four years (2013-16), finishing her career with a .410 batting average, 222 runs and 116 RBI. Additionally, Minerva collected 42 doubles, 11 triples, 24 home runs and 123 stolen bases, while holding the school’s single-season records for at bats (179), hits (84) and total bases (134) in 2016.
In addition, Minerva has the career marks for games (198), at bats (651), runs (222) and stolen bases (123). During her four years, Rowan compiled a 158-40 won-lost record, playing in the NCAA Regional Tournament four times and winning two conference titles (2014, 2016). The Profs advanced to the NCAA Super Regional twice (2014, 2016) and the 2016 NCAA National Championship Tournament.
Minerva earned All-America First-Team honors as a junior and senior while also a four-time New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) All-Conference First-Team selection. She was a three-time NJAC Player of the Year (2014, 2015 and 2016) and the conference’s 2013 Rookie of the Year. After her senior campaign, she was honored as the 2016 NJAC Female Athlete of the Year. Minerva received numerous NCAA Region, Super Regional and Championship All-Tournament and National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region honors as well.
The team captain was the 2015 Philadelphia Inquirer Performer of the Year and a member of the Academic All-Area team. She was selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-America teams twice and All-District teams three times. Minerva was named to the NJAC All-Academic first and second teams and received All-Academic honorable mention. A Rowan Scholar-Athlete, she was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society.
Minerva also served as an assistant softball coach at Rutgers-Camden for two seasons (2018-219).
She is a 2017 graduate from Rowan University with a bachelor’s in health and physical education. Minerva also earned a master’s in college athletic administration from Coker University in 2021.
