Tom Doddy is in his 21st year at Rowan University as assistant head coach while he oversees the offensive line and is in his fifth year as the run game coordinator. Doddy has previously been the offensive and defensive coordinator for the Profs while supervising numerous positions on both sides of the ball.
Doddy came to Rowan in 2000 after serving for four years on the coaching staff at Highland Regional High School, where he was the offensive coordinator for two years and the defensive coordinator for the other two, in addition to working with the offensive line and linebackers. A social studies teacher at the school, he was also an assistant coach for the track and softball teams.Â
Prior to that, from 1986 to 1996, he was the head softball coach and assistant softball coach at his alma mater, Muhlenberg College. His teams won two conference championships and earned two berths in the NCAA Division III Championship. Doddy was also on the football coaching staff there, serving in a variety of roles, including offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, recruiting coordinator and an offensive line and linebackers coach.
Doddy, a three-year starter at guard, was an All-Conference performer in football in his sophomore and junior seasons and graduated from Muhlenberg in 1983 with a bachelor of arts in history.

He is an active member of the American Football Coaches Association and serves on the assistant coaches committee. He has been a speaker at Mega/Glazier Clinics throughout New Jersey, Massachusetts, Ohio and Illinois and has also spoken at the NJSIAA Football Clinic and the Nike Clinic in Atlantic City, NJ. He has participated on numerous search committees and chaperoned senior week activities at Rowan.
