Ryne Morrison joined the Rowan staff in 2024 as pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach and expands his responsibilities for the 2025 season, and will serve as the Profs' recruiting coordinator and quarterbacks cooach.Â
Prior to joining Pat Ruley’s inaugural staff, Morrison coached at St. Joseph's Preparatory School in Philadelphia from 2016 to 2023. In those eight seasons, the Hawks were 96-8, won six 6A state championships, and finished in the top 10 in the national rankings four times.
During his tenure at The Prep, Morrison guided players who set Philadelphia season and career records for yardage, touchdowns, completions, and receptions. He coached 18 First Team All-State quarterbacks and wide receivers, including All-Americans Marvin Harrison Jr. (Ohio State and Arizona Cardinals WR) and Kyle McCord (Ohio State and Syracuse QB). After an outstanding career, McCord was named the 2020 Gatorade Player of the Year in Pennsylvania. Following McCord’s departure, Samaj Jones went on to accumulate 7,813 yards and 108 TDs over three seasons.
Morrison played wide receiver at Colgate University from 2010 to 2013, where he majored in Mathematics. He also has a Master’s degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University. His coaching career began on his father Scott’s staff at La Puente High School in California in 2014.
