Dayna DeVincentz returned to the Rowan field hockey program as an assistant coach, the year after she served as a team co-captain for the squad that reached the 2021 NCAA Semifinals.

The native of Flemington, NJ, started all 83 possible games of her career on defense, as she helped Rowan compiled a 68-15 record, with two NJAC Championships and three NCAA Tournament appearances.

DeVincentz excelled in the classroom, being named to the NFHCA Academic Squad three times and receiving NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mention for three years as well. She was named a Rowan Scholar-Athlete of Distinction for three consecutive years, and in 2022, was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society.

DeVincentz received her bachelor’s degree from Rowan in mathematics in 2022 and is now pursuing a master’s degree in applied statistics from Villanova University.
