This is Friedman’s first season as an assistant coach for the Rowan University baseball team.
Prior, he was a right-handed pitcher for the Profs for four years (2015-18). In 2018, Friedman had a 1-1 record with a 1.96 earned run average and four saves in 16 appearances. He totaled 10 strikeouts in 23 innings. Friedman held opponents to a .169 batting average.
Friedman recorded the save in a 3-2 win versus Ramapo College in the 2018 New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship Tournament. The team captain earned the win in Rowan’s 4-1 victory over Arcadia University in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional.
Friedman graduated from the University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in management.
