Former major league pitcher Chris Rollins joined the Profs’ staff in 2024 as the pitching coach, after serving in the same position at his alma mater, Rowan College at Gloucester County.
Rollins was the pitching coach at RCGC from 2019 to 2022 as the Roadrunners won three straight National Junior College (NJCAA) Region 19 District Championships. Two of his pitchers - Mat Stil (Kansas City Royals) and Nick Yoder (Texas Rangers) – were selected in the 2019 MLB Draft.
A 2005 draft pick of the Chicago Cubs out of Winslow Township High School, Rollins played at RCGC from 2006-07, and was a member of the team that captured the 2008 NJCAA Region 19 District title.
He spent five years playing professionally with the Cubs, the San Diego Padres as well as the Camden Riversharks and the Newark Bears. Rollins trains top high school, college and professional players, including long-time client and MLB All-Star Zac Gallen of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Rollins and his wife, Laura, have two children, Carter and Madelyn.
