This is B.J. Jarrett’s third season as an assistant coach for Rowan University.

Jarrett is a physical education, driver’s education and health teacher at Bishop Eustace Prepartory School. Prior, he served one year as a physical education and health teacher at Middle River Middle School.

Jarrett was an assistant coach at Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees, NJ in 2006. He helped guide the Vikings to the South Jersey State Final. In 2004, Jarrett was an assistant coach at Lake Braddock Secondary School, which finished the season with a 15-2 record and a conference title.

In 2001, Jarrett graduated with his bachelor’s of science degree in physical education from Salisbury University. He was a four year starter at shortstop and played on the 2001 team that reached the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament and finished fourth in the country. Jarrett earned All-Conference and All-South Region honors twice and ended his senior season with a .412 batting average and a 16 game consecutive hitting streak.
