Immunizations
NCAA and Rowan University require updated immunizations be on file and recorded. This also includes Sickle Cell Testing for all student athletes. The mandatory forms can be found through the following link. Please follow all directions listed on the Rowan University Wellness Center Website and complete the Provider Packet.

2025-26 Physicals
All sports physicals must be completed by the Rowan Athletics Team Physicians at the Rowan University Wellness Center at Winans Hall.
These sports physicals will be done once ALL THE IMMUNIZATIONS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED.
All student athletes under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian

All Incoming Freshmen and Transfers - JULY 21, 2025
8:00 am Football
9:30 am Women's Soccer; Men's Soccer
10:30 am Volleyball; Field Hockey
11:30 am Women's Cross Country; Men's Cross Country; Women's Track & Field; Men's Track & Field
1:00 pm Women's Swimming; Men's Swimming; Women's Basketball; Men's Basketball
2:00 pm Lacrosse; Softball; Baseball
Returning Winter and Spring Sports - JULY 22, 2025
9:00 am Women's Swimming; Men's Swimming
9:30 am Men's Track & Field
10:30 am Women's Basketball; Men's Basketball
11:00 am Women's Track & Field
12:00 pm Baseball;
Women's Lacrosse; Softball
Any new student athlete that cannot attend the sports physical dates above must contact Head Athletic Trainer, Colleen Grugan, grugan@rowan.edu
Any student athlete with a pre-existing medical condition that has been documented should bring copies of any pertinent information (i.e. x-rays, reports, etc.) and previous clearances with them to the pre-participation exam. Examples of what we are looking for include heart murmurs, asthma, diabetes, allergic reactions, surgeries, missing organs, metal plates, etc. This information may help avoid missing practice time if this type of information is deemed necessary by the medical staff.
