With a swift kick of a soccer ball by Rowan University President Ali A. Houshmand, Rowan University officially opened its new $4.6 million athletic practice facility on Rowan's West Campus on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015.
The West Campus practice facility includes two fields for football, soccer, field hockey and lacrosse athletes. One of the fields will be dedicated to the football and men's and women's soccer teams, while the other is for the Rowan field hockey and lacrosse teams.
During track meets, the complex serves as include the long and triple jump, pole vault and all throwing events.
