Katlyn Gandara was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI doubles while going all five innings in the circle to pick up the win (23-2) as the Bulldogs opened up a two-run game with a five-run fourth. Jenay Scott's RBI double in the fifth ended the game via the eight-run rule.

Zoey Rogers went 2-for-3 with two runs scored for the Profs (43-10), who now have to win out to remain alive in the double elimination tournament.

The Profs would strike early for the second-straight game, getting a run across in the top of the first. Rogers singled with an infield hit to short, and came around to score on Ava Fisher's double to right.

Redlands (45-6), out of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, responded with three runs in the bottom half on four hits and two Prof errors. After a one-out miscue, back-to-back doubles from Gandara and Natalie Lowthers helped score two runs. Later, a throwing error led to a third run coming across to put the Profs in a 3-1 deficit.

In the third, Rowan got a run back as Rogers scored on an error with two outs. Kate Evick's  grounder to second produced a throw off the mark at first, allowing Rogers to score to make it 3-2.

Scott scored from second on an Adyson Kim groundout to short in the bottom of the third as Redlands reclaimed a 4-2 lead.

Gardara's two-run double sparked the five-run frame for the Bulldogs and knocked out starter Emily McCutcheon. The senior lefty yielded seven runs (five earned) on 10 hits with three strikeouts to go to 22-6 on the year. BethAnne Doderer entered in the fourth inning before allowing the walk-off double in the fifth.

It was McCutcheon's first loss in almost two months, a 4-2 defeat at Stockton back on March 31st. From there, the team has put together a 26-3 record since that defeat.
