GLASSBORO, NJ - A ninth-inning grand slam by
Joey Bogart propelled #5 Rowan to a 9-5 second-game win over Randoph-Macon in the NCAA Division III Baseball Glassboro Super Regional, giving the Profs the sweep in the best-of-three series and a second consecutive trip to the NCAA Championship. Rowan won the first game, 11-7, earlier in the day.

Righthander
Austin Kreyenhagen tossed his second complete game of the season to earn the victory and send the Profs to Eastlake, Ohio next week. The sophomore allowed five hits and struck out five to improve his record to 8-1.

It marks the third time (2021, 2025, 2026) under head coach
Mike Dickson that Rowan will play for a national championship. The Profs are now 37-5 on the season.

GAME 1
Brett Chiesa's two-run double in the seventh pushed Rowan ahead, 9-7, as the freshman drove in Struble and Murphy.

The Profs added the insurance runs in the eighth when Davis hit his 15th home run of the year, a two-run shot to left center that scored McCoach.
Â
Evan Brasberger (4-0) earned the win in two shutout innings of relief. Starter
Zach Coluccio went 5.0 innings and struck out six while
Ben Schild had two strikeouts in one inning and
Nick Watson closed out the game.

Rowan took a quick 3-0 lead when Murphy hit a three-run homer, his fourth of the season, to score
Jason Schooley and Davis.

RMC got on the board in the second by way of a Rowan error for the Yellow Jackets first run of the game. Rowan answered with one as Suriani singled to centerfield to score Chiesa, and the Profs led, 4-1.

A two-run double by Logan Duff pulled RMC within, 4-3 in the third before Rowan added another in the bottom of the inning as Suriani hit a sacrifice fly to bring home
Joey Bogart. The Yellow Jackets cut the deficit to 5-4 as Duff hit a sacrifice fly. Rowan expanded on its lead in the bottom of the inning when Struble connected on a two-run home run, his second of the season, that scored Murphy and gave Rowan a 7-4 lead.

RMC would not go away and tied the game, 7-7, in the seventh on a solo homer by Zach Wernoski, a sacrifice fly and a wild pitch. That set the stage for Chiesa's double that pushed the Profs ahead for good.

Murphy went 2-for-3 with three runs and three RBI and Chiesa was 2-for-4 with a run and two RBI.

GAME 2
With the game tied, 5-5, from the sixth inning on, Rowan loaded the bases as Murphy singled, Struble reached on a fielder's choice and Chiesa walked, setting the stage for Bogart's heroics. When he sent a pitch to left center, it marked just his third career home run, his first of 2026, and his first-ever grand slam.
Kreyenhagen shut down the Yellow Jackets in the final three innings to secure the victory.Â

The teams battled throughout, trading leads. After the Profs fell behind, 2-0, Chiesa singled to drive in Struble in the second inning. RMC went up 3-1 before Davis had another RBI on a base hit to score
Mason Dorsey and pull Rowan within, 3-2.

The Profs took the lead, 5-3, in the top of the sixth as they loaded the bases and Suriani was hit by a pitch. Davis was walked to force in Dorsey and then McCoach crossed the plate after a wild pitch.

RMC (29-17) Â returned the favor in the bottom of the inning on a wild pitch and a sacrifice fly by Duff to tie the game at 5-5.

Bogart went 3-for-5 in the game, scoring two runs and driving in four, with Davis adding two RBI to his total of 84, which is one of the best in the nation.
Mason Dorsey went 2-for-5 and scored two runs.
