The Tigers' Avery Holland (19-1) frustrated the Profs bats, limiting Rowan to four hits in a complete game shutout. Teammate Ava Rodriguez hit a pair of home runs, finishing with four RBI's to send ETBU to the regional final on Saturday.

Kate Evick had two of four hits for the Profs, who were designated as the home team, including her 100th career hit.

The Tigers put three runs on the board in the top of the first, thanks to a three-run home run from Rodriguez.

Evick's milestone hit, a double to the wall in center, led off the second and was later followed by a two-out single from Carly Polsky to put runners on the corners, but Holland was able to keep the Profs scoreless.

Rodriguez added her second homer of the game, a solo shot in the third to knock out starter BethAnne Doderer (19-4). Doderer allowed the four runs on four hits with a strikeout and a walk.

ETBU worked a bases-loaded walk to add a run in the fifth off of reliever Madison Cooley before adding two more runs in the sixth on a two-run single from Ryan Stratmen to make it 7-0. Cooley worked two innings before turning it over to Emma Dobkin for the final 2.1 innings.

Stratman was 3-for-4 with two runs scored for ETBU.
