AUBURNDALE, FL -
Brayden Davis drove in all five of the Profs' runs but #7 Salve Regina rallied late to record a 7-5 win over #8 Rowan at the RussMatt Invitational. The Profs are 2-2 on this Spring Break trip and 5-2 overall.

Davis went 2-for-5 with five RBI, while hitting his fifth home run of the year.

The game started out as a pitchers' duel between the Profs'
Ben Schild and Brady Shea, with a scoreless contest through five innings.
Â
Davis opened the scoring when he launched a three-run homer in the fifth inning over the centerfield fence.
Evan McCoach, who had singled, and
Damon Suriani, who had walked were both on board and crossed the plate as the Profs took a 3-0 lead.

But Salve Regina (6-1) Â came back with four in the sixth inning on three hits and a Rowan error, to take the 4-3 lead.

The Profs' third baseman took matters into his own hands in the seventh when
Mason Dorsey (walk) and
Kevin Cole (hit by a pitch) were on base, when he laced a two-run double to put Rowan up, 5-4.

The Seahawks won the game in the top of the ninth, scoring three runs on three hits and two Rowan errors.

Mark Grubb pitched two innings for the Profs but
Collin Denton took the loss, with Salve Regina's Dominic Carollo getting the victory.

The Profs take on another ranked opponent on Monday when they face #3 Johns Hopkins in Auburndale at 5:45 p.m.
