Carill Asanji,
Julianna Giordano, and
Ella Pennington were honored with player of the week accolades from the New Jersey Athletic Conference for the week ending November 2nd.

McBride was selected the NJAC Football Defensive Rookie of the Week after the freshman posted a season-best 10 tackles while adding a sack and 1.5 tackles for losses in Rowan's 44-30 win at TCNJ. His 10-yard sack came on a 3rd and 10 in the 2nd quarter, leading to a TCNJ punt.

Asanji was named the NJAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career. He scored the tying goal that helped #24 Rowan to a 2-1 win over TCNJ in the regular-season finale, securing the third seed for the Profs in the NJAC Championship. After TCNJ took a 1-0 lead in the 33rd minute, Asanji netted the tying goal in the 72nd minute for his second goal of the year.

Julianna Giordano picked up the NJAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week award for the second time this season as the senior scored the eventual game-tying goal with less than 10 minutes in regulation to help Rowan to a 2-2 draw last Wednesday at TCNJ to get the Profs to the #2 NJAC playoff seed.

Pennington also scored her second NJAC Women's Swimming Swimmer of the Week accolade. The senior took home first place in three events in Saturday's meet at Salisbury, placing first in the 100 back (1:03.64), 200 back (2:20.42) and 100 butterfly (1:03.97). Her times in the 100 back and 200 back set new facility records as well.

Rowan's football (5-2-1, 3-2 NJAC) team welcomes Vermont State-Castleton to Richard Wackar Stadium on Saturday for Senior Day/Military Appreciation Day in a new start time of noon.

#24 Men's soccer (13-3-4) plays at Stockton on Wednesday in the NJAC Champinoship Semifinal.

#11 Women's soccer (13-1-2) hosts TCNJ in an NJAC Tournament Semifinal on Tuesday in a 6 p.m. start.

Women's swimming (2-1) will look to bounce back from its defeat to Salisbury as the Profs head to West Chester on Saturday with action kicking off at 11 a.m.
