PITMAN, NJ -- Rowan earned three top honors as a total of 14 student-athletes were selected to the New Jersey Athletic Conference Football All-Conference Team.

Anthony Henriquez was voted the NJAC Defensive Player of the Year while Jaeden Everett was named the NJAC Defensive Rookie of the Year. On the other side of the football, Mordecai Ford earned NJAC Offensive Rookie of the Year honors.

Henriquez joins Giaini Derameaux, Nunes Bukula IV, and Michael Zarfati on the first team. Second team honors went to CJ Carter, Greg Casimir, Matt Chinchillo, Nate Maiers, Danny Miller, and AJ Ryker. Tyshawn Bookman and Jackson Ferrante earned honorable mention accolades.

Bookman, Casimir, Chinchillo, Maiers, and Ryker earn all-conference honors for the second time.

This year, Henriquez leads the team in solo tackles (40) and total tackles (86) and is third in sacks (2.5 for 17 yards) and tackles for losses (8.5 for 31 yards), while adding an interception and a forced fumble. Conference-wise, the senior is third in both solo and total tackles. Henriquez was named to the D3football.com 'Team of the Week' and NJAC Defensive Player of the Week after his performance in the regular season finale at Kean.

Everett recorded four tackles and returned both of his interceptions for touchdowns. His first came on an 11-yard pick six against Salisbury and his second was a 50-yard touchdown in the home finale vs. Castleton.

Ford produced 382 yards on 38 carries with three touchdowns including a program record for the longest rushing touchdown with a 94-yard TD run in a win over William Paterson. The freshman also grabbed four passes for 133 yards, adding a 62-yard scoring reception against Castleton while his 23.2 average on 15 kickoffs (348 yards) were tops on the squad.

The Profs were selected to play at Utica in the ECAC Asa S. Bushnell Bowl. Kickoff from Utica, New York is scheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m.
