GLASSBORO, NJ – Rowan University welcomed the Class of 2025 into the Rowan/Glassboro Athletic Hall of Fame with an induction ceremony on October 19th. Sandy Duda (field hockey/lacrosse), Jamie Elias (softball), Tony Racioppi (football), Abby Singley Adams (field hockey), Clinton Tabb III (football) and John Yurkow (baseball) were honored, along with the 1998 Field Hockey team and the 1993 Softball team.

The group of six individuals and two teams enter the Hall of Fame, which now consists of 177 individuals and 14 teams, while upholding the tradition of excellence of those who have been inducted before them.
 
Making the presentations to the inductees were Rowan director of athletics Shawn Tucker and former director of athletics Joy Solomen, who was an administrator for 25 years, and was the AD from 1993 to 2012.
 
SANDY DUDA '96 –  Field Hockey & Lacrosse (1990-93)
All-America First Team in field hockey in 1991 and 1992 and lacrosse in 1993… All-Region and All-NJAC 1st Team in field hockey… Rowan's first NJAC Field Hockey Midfielder of the Year (1992)… Has 18 career assists to rank in Rowan's Top 20… Member of the first field hockey team to reach the NCAA Tournament… Totaled 186 career points (130 goals, 56 assists) in lacrosse
 
JAMIE ELIAS '02 – Softball (1999-2001)

NFCA All-America Third Team in 2000… All-Region and All-NJAC 1st Team in 1999 and 2000… Pitcher who threw 25 complete games in 1999, the third-best total in school history, and ranks in the top 10 with 54 in her career… Posted four saves in 2001, the second-highest number at Rowan… Helped Profs make two appearances in the NCAA Regionals and reach the NCAA Finals in 1999
 
TONY RACIOPPI '04 – Football (2001-02)

Chosen to two All-America Teams in 2001… Named the NJAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2001 and 2002… Quarterback who led the Profs to a 21-3 record as the starter… Passed for 5,530 yards and 62 touchdowns in two seasons…. Owns the Rowan record for passing efficiency in a season and career (150.4)… Threw for seven touchdowns in a win over Montclair State, including five in a quarter, which is tied as the NCAA record
 
ABBY SINGLEY ADAMS '05 – Field Hockey (1998-2001)

First three-time All-American (1999, 2000, 2001) in Rowan field hockey history… All-NJAC and All-Region First Team honoree in those same years… Tied for 11th all-time in career assists (24)… Member of the 1998 team that was first to reach the NCAA Semifinals… Profs made four NCAA appearances during her career, with two in the Final Four
 
CLINTON TABB III '03 – Football (1998-2001)
Named to the D3 Football All-America First Team in 1999 and received Honorable Mention in 2000 and 2001… Chosen to the All-Conference First Team for all four seasons… NJAC Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1998… Owns the school record for interceptions in a season (12) and career (24)… Is Rowan's all-time leader with 326 yards on interception returns… Helped the Profs to consecutive berths in the Stagg Bowl in 1998 and 1999 and the national semifinals and NJAC title in 2001
 
JOHN YURKOW '01 – Baseball (1996-99)
Named to the ABCA All-America Second Team in 1999… All-Mid-Atlantic Region Team in 1998 and 1999… Program's all-time leader in runs (179) and walks (176)… Ranks fifth in stolen bases (55)… Is fifth in the NCAA record book for walks per game in a season (1.47)… Helped the Profs to four straight NCAA Regionals… Chosen the MVP of the NJAC Championship (1999) as Profs won the title
 
1998 FIELD HOCKEY TEAM
First team to earn a berth in the NCAA semifinals… Won the program's first NJAC Championship… Went 18-3 under coach Penny Kempf, which is the 4th-best winning percentage in school history… Hosted two NCAA Tournament games, defeating Tufts and Gettysburg to advance to the Final Four… Started a run of six consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances which included the 2002 national championship

1998 SOFTBALL TEAM
First team to reach the NCAA Finals (College World Series)… Finished the year tied for fourth in the nation… Went 36-14 guided by coach Kim Franchi, which was the school record for wins at that time… Went 9-1 in the NJAC and won the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional title… Melissa Comparri and Joy Pittner became Rowan's first softball All-Americans
