Moore Scores Twice to Help #17 Women's Soccer Defeat William Paterson, 3-0

GLASSBORO, NJ -- Bella Moore scored twice and the Prof defense did not yield a shot as #17 Women's Soccer shutout William Paterson, 3-0, in a New Jersey Athletic Conference matchup on a rainy Saturday afternoon.

Moore scored once in each half, giving her six goals on the season. Cali Sloan got in on the scoring as the defender put in her first collegiate goal later in the second half.

The Profs measured out 21 shots in the first half as the home team kept the offensive pressure throughout.

In the 33rd minute, Moore took a feed from Lianna SanFelice on a ball into the box where she one-touched a shot past Pioneer keeper Sarah Mantilla. The assist was SanFelice's team-leading seventh on the season.

Now in the 55th minute, a short cross across the goal mouth from Sara Wiedeman, found the foot of Angela Oliveto where she flicked it to Moore to make it a 2-0 contest.

Sloan capped the scoring as she had a look from almost 30 yards out and blasted her first goal to the upper left corner.

Mantilla recorded eight saves in net for William Paterson. Rowan keepers Leah Edinger and Catie Paolini combined for the team's eight clean sheet this season.

The Profs continue NJAC play on Wednesday, when the team heads to Stockton in a 6 p.m. start.
