Leah Edinger was the difference in #18 Rowan's 1-0 New Jersey Athletic Conference win at Jersey City on Wednesday.
After almost a scoreless 80 minutes, Giordano converted on her second career penalty kick and her team-leading eighth goal on the season with 10:14 remaining in the contest.
Edinger made four of her seven stops in the second half to record her fourth shutout on the year.
The Gothic Knights' Sophia Mannino recorded four saves in goal.
The Profs continue NJAC play this Saturday as Rutgers-Camden makes the short drive to face off with Rowan in a 5 p.m. first touch.
