COLLEGEVILLE, PA – Ursinus gave Rowan its first loss of the season in a 58-14 final on the road Saturday night.
The Bears' Tony Holden ran for 226 yards and three touchdowns and quarterback Jalen Bradford ran for 50 more and added 144 passing yards and three total scores as Ursinus outgained the Profs, 598-105.

Matt Welsey put the Profs on the board with a 21-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. He and
Nate Maiers combined to to 9-for-25 for 56 yards and battled through four sacks from the home team on the evening.
Welsey's TD scramble made it a 7-7 contest at the 9:03 mark of the quarter, but Ursinus added three scores in the final 5:17 of the half to open up a 28-7 advantage at the break.
After a Michael D'Amico two-yard score, the ensuing kickoff was returned 94 yards by
Isaac Jean-Baptiste back the other way for a touchdown.
Defensively,
Nick Cerulli, who hit a career-high eight tackles last week, went for a personal-best nine stops.
Joe Racobaldo and
Jackson Ferrante each added seven tackles.
Shamar Love added four stops and an interception while
Chris Rodgers and
Anthony Henriquez registered a sack apiece respectively.
For Ursinus, Connor Carter recorded three sacks, five tackles, and a pass breakup.
The Profs are off next weekend and will resume action on Friday, October 4th at Johns Hopkins in a 6 p.m. kickoff from Baltimore, Md.
