READING, PA – (RV) Rowan scored three goals in over a six-minute span in the first half to go on and post a 3-0 win at Penn State-Berks Friday afternoon.

Jillian Jankowski, Olivia Giordano, and Angela Oliveto all netted goals between the 18th and 24th minutes as the Profs totaled 17 shots in the half and 28 for the contest.

Goalie Calista Burke recorded one save on three shots to earn her second shutout in four games this season.

Jankowski made it 1-0 at the 17:13 mark off an assist from Mackenzie Clement, who now has points in Rowan's first four contests. Giordano was set up by sister Julianna Giordano for a two-goal edge just over three minutes later. Oliveto added an unassisted tally at 23:13 to account for the scoring.

Sophia Gonzalez made 13 stops for the Lions.

Rowan will get back at it on Wednesday, September 18th in a contest at Muhlenberg in a 7 p.m. start.
