#25 Field Hockey Advances to NJAC Final with 4-0 WIn over Stockton as Gray Scores Twice

GLASSBORO, NJ - Freshman Jenna Gray scored two goals and added an assist as top-seeded and #25 Rowan defeated Stockton, 4-0, to advance to the NJAC Championship game. The Profs, winners of their last nine contests, are seeking their fourth consecutive title when they host second-seeded TCNJ on Saturday in the final at 6 p.m. at Coach Richard Wackar Stadium.

NJAC Semifinal Game Highlights

Junior goalkeeper Mariah Juiliano made four saves to notch her sixth shutout of the year and her second consecutive.

Rowan (13-7) wasted no time in getting on the board, at just two minutes into the game. Gray set up the goal  as she sent a centering pass to Kylie Elwell, who backhanded it into the cage  for the eventual gamewinner from less than 10 yards out. It was Elwell's fourth goal of the year.

The Profs added another one minute later on a corner after Alexa Ronning took the initial shot and Allie Palumbo, the NJAC's leading scorer, deflected it in for the 2-0 lead.
Gray added a goal in each of the next two quarters to put the game out of reach, upping her season total to 13 goals.

It marks the third consecutive season that Rowan and TCNJ will meet for the league title.

Ticket prices for all NJAC Championship games are: $10 for adults and $5 for students, senior citizens and children. The first 100 Rowan students with ID will be admitted free. Season passes will not be accepted. Tickets for games at Rowan are available at the game and are CASH ONLY.
