Women's Soccer Remains Unbeaten as Clement Scores Twice in 3-1 Win at Rutgers-Camden

CAMDEN, NJ - Mackenzie Clement had a hand in all three goals as Rowan defeated Rutgers-Camden, 3-1, in NJAC women's soccer action as the Profs remain unbeaten on the year at 8-0-2 (3-0 conference).

Clement set up the first goal of the game when she sent a pass to Olivia Giordano at the right post, who connected for her ninth score of the year at 5:31.

Just three minutes later, Clement tallied her ninth goal of the season, with a shot from outside the box, which was set up by Sara Wiedeman.

The Profs held the 2-0 lead until the final minutes when they were awarded a penalty kick that Clement converted for her team-best 10 goal.

Rutgers-Camden (5-5-2; 1-2 NJAC) ended the shutout bid for Rowan keeper Calista Burke when it notched a goal in the final four minutes. Burke made three saves while the Profs outshot Rutgers-Camden, 15-9.

The Profs get a break during the week and will resume play on Saturday when they visit William Paterson.
