GALLOWAY, NJ -
Jenna Gray's second-quarter goal helped Rowan defeat Stockton, 3-1, in an NJAC field hockey matchup, keeping the Profs unbeaten in league play. Rowan (11-7; 5-0) also had goals from
Kylie Elwell and
Sidney Pavlishin as it extended its winning streak to seven games.
Elwell gave Rowan a 1-0 lead with her third goal of the year at 16:33, as
Alexa Ronning was credited with the assist.

Allie Palumbo, an All-American at Stockton last year, set up Gray's goal at 28:37. The senior sent the ball towards the front of the net and Gray was there to pop it up over Stockton goalie Erica Roura for the 2-1 lead. It was the freshman's 10th of the year and her second game-winning goal.
Pavlishin added insurance for the Profs at 43:04 when she received the ball in the middle of the circle and scored from close range, for her sixth of the season.
Mariah Juiliano made six saves for Rowan as the Profs held a 19-12 advantage in shots.
Rowan will look to clinch the NJAC regular-season title on Saturday when it closes out the regular season at Montclair State.
