The Profs end their season with a 42-10 record while having reached the NCAA Softball World Series for the seventh time in program history, and the first since 2018.

Salisbury jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the top of the first inning and the Profs couldn't recover. Lauren Meyers hit a bases-clearing three-run triple to help the cause as the Sea Gulls batted around.

Neither team scored until the sixth when each put a run up on the board. Trailing 8-0, Rowan got one back in the bottom half of the inning, as Devyn DiPasquale led off with a double, and pinch runner Gabbie Fonollosa eventually scored on a single by Breanna Bryant.

Salisbury then added six more in the final inning to put away the game and continue on in the tournament.

Starter Emily McCutcheon (12-2) suffered the loss for Rowan with Lindsey Windsor striking out five Profs en route to the win.
