HARRISBURG, PA – Penn State Harrisburg scored six runs in consecutive innings to record a 7-1 win over #17 Rowan in non-conference baseball action today while extending its winning streak to 15. With the loss, Rowan drops to 18-7 and has its winning streak end at five games.

Trailing 1-0, Penn State Harrisburg (22-5) got on the board in the second, scoring a pair of runs with a double and sacrifice fly. The Lions added another in the third helped by a Rowan error, to take a 3-1 lead.
The Profs left two men on in the fourth and Penn St.-Harrisburg capitalized by scoring three in the bottom of the inning, getting three hits, including an RBI double by Dallas Hite, and using a Rowan error to take a 6-1 lead. The Lions added their final run in the seventh helped by the third error of the game by the Profs.
Starter
Mike Shannon (3-1) suffered the loss in 2.0 innings as Rowan used six pitchers in the contest. Starter Danny Eden went eight innings to pick up the victory as he struck out five Profs.
Jason Morgan led Rowan going 3-for-4 with one double and
Tyler Cannon went 2-for-5 and were the only Profs with multiple hits.
Rowan returns to conference play on Thursday when it visits TCNJ and the teams will play in Glassboro on Friday.
