HAVERFORD, PA – The #8 Rowan field hockey team was upset by undefeated Haverford, 2-0, today at Swan Field, as the home team upped its season record to 7-0.
The Profs (3-2) outshot the Fords, 15-9, in the game, but Haverford held a 7-5 edge in shots on goal.
Haverford netted the first goal at 21:05 when Amy Kim took a pass from Dalia Bercow. The home team scored again late in the third quarter, at 44:04 when Delaney Snowden put in a pass sent to her in front of the goal.
Bridget Guinan had seven shots for Rowan while
Julia Patrone took four, while putting three on net.
Rowan is in the midst of a four-game stretch on the road, and the Profs will head to Dickinson on Wednesday, September 22.
