GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan football team will host Springfield College on Saturday, September 11 at Coach Richard Wackar Stadium, with kickoff set for noon. The Profs are looking to earn their first win of the young season, have dropped a 27-22 decision to Widener in last week's opener before a sellout crowd. VIdeo streaming of the game will be provided by RTN, while Rowan Radio (89.7 WGLS) will carry the action.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate on Saturday. General Admission is $8 and tickets for senior citizens, children and visiting college students with ID are $5, while children under 3 and students with a valid Rowan ID are free.
This marks the first-ever meeting between the schools while Springfield opened its season last week with a 24-13 loss to Western New England.
Newcomer
James Fara, a transfer from D1 Monmouth, had 152 rushing yards last week to lead the Profs. Included in his total was a 71-yard run from scrimmage. WR
John Maldonado scored one touchdown for Rowan, and picked up 56 yards on six receptions while QB
Mike Husni threw for 83 yards and a touchdown to C.J. Barrett.
AJ Akins led Rowan's defense with 10 tackles and three sacks, while
Mike Mascioli also registered 10 tackles.
The Profs get a rare week off on September 18 before returning to action on September 25 with a road game at Salve Regina.
