GLASSBORO, NJ - Rutgers-Camden scored four runs in the eighth inning to break open a tie game and earn an 8-4 win over #17 Rowan in NJAC baseball action at Rowan Baseball Field. The loss snaps a seven-game winning streak for the Profs (9-3; 7-1 NJAC).

The Scarlet Raptors loaded the bases in the eighth and R.J. Concepcion singled to bring in two runs and then Brett Yurgin tripled to bring in two more to secure the win for Rutgers-Camden (6-8; 5-3).

Rowan, which was designated as the away team in this game, put the first runs on the board in the top of the second inning.
Ryan Murphy led off with a single and eventually scored on a Rutgers error when
Jared Marks reached base.
Ryan McIsaac then hit a two-run single to score Marks and
Trip McCaffrey, who had been hit by a pitch.

Rutgers-Camden, which is coached by Rowan alum Ryan Kulik, matched the Profs in the bottom of the inning as Billy Eisler hit a three-run double to tie the score, 3-3.

Rowan got the go-ahead run in the sixth as McIsaac scored on a wild pitch. Rutgers countered in the bottom of the inning as Eisler hit his second double of the day to bring in Vazquez and tie the game at 4-4.

McIsaac was 2-for-5 in the game with one run and two RBI and
Alex Kokos was 2-for-4 for the Profs, who had defeated Rutgers-Camden, 12-4, on Thursday.

Connor Metelski made the start for Rowan and went five innings, striking out four.
Christian Bascunan, who took the loss, came in relief of Metelski and got out of a bases loaded jam in the sixth by getting Matt Yanick to foul out to first baseman
Eric DiDomenico.
Zach Listro entered in the eighth and struck out two in one inning of work.

Stephen Brady picked up the victory in three innings of relief of Jack Murphy for Rutgers-Camden as the pitchers limited the Profs to just six hits. Eisler led the Scarlet Raptors by going 3-for-5 with four RBI and one run scored, while Vazquez was 3-for-3 with three runs.

The Profs will host William Paterson in a doubleheader on Saturday, beginning at 11:30 a.m.
