FLORHAM, NJ – The #10 Rowan University field hockey team won 3-1 at FDU-Florham in the last game of the regular season.

Julianna Gligor each scored a goal. Midfielder Kristiina Catagnola and forward
Bridget Guinan contributed with one assist apiece.
Goalie
Morgan Novak had three saves. Both teams totaled 10 shots. The Profs are 14-3 overall and ranked third in the NCAA South Atlantic Region. The Devils have a 15-4 record and they are sixth in the region.
Midfielder Allison Attardi gave FDU a 1-0 lead after the first quarter. She blasted a shot from the top of the circle with a pass from back Marie Pietracatella on a penalty corner. Hovell tied the score at 18:41 with an unassisted goal.
Stone gave Rowan the lead in the third. She hit the cage (32:03) after Castagnola sent her the ball. Gligor scored off a deflection at 52:47 and Guinan had the assist.
Rowan advances to the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship Tournament on Wednesday, Nov. 6. Pairings will be announced at the conclusion of the conference schedule.
