GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team is riding a six-game win streak after a 2-1 victory over Montclair State University on Saturday evening.
Midfielder
Jessica Logan (fr. Jobstown, NJ/Northern Burlington County Reg.) recorded the game-winner at 35:29. Her shot outside the box went just under the cross bar and midfielder
Megan McKinley (jr. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) had the assist. It was Logan's second goal on the season.
Rowan has a 6-1 record with a 2-0 mark in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Montclair State is 4-1-3 overall and 0-1-1 in the conference.
Midfielder
Darah Wagner (jr. Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) gave the Profs a 1-0 lead at 30:26. She blasted a shot from outside the box into the top of the net. The Red Hawks only took 22 seconds later to tie the score. Forward Madison Martino (fr. Mount Arlington, NJ/Roxbury) knocked in a loose ball (30:48).
Rowan totaled 22 shots while Montclair State had 11. In the final half, the Profs outshot the Red Hawks, 13-3. MSU goalie Lindsay Freewalt (fr. Alexandria, VA/West Potomac) compiled 11 saves. Goalkeeper

Rowan is home again on Wednesday, Sept. 26 against conference opponent Stockton University at 7 p.m.
