Dayna DeVincentz (fr. Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central) had an assist. Back Brynn Froehlich (fr. San Diego, CA/Torrey Pines) scored the Ducks' lone goal and midfielder Cassidy O'Hearn (sr. Silver Spring, MD/Springbrook) had the assist. Midfielder/back Izy Engel (fr. Robbinsville, NJ/Stuart Country Day School) recorded two defender saves.
Rowan has a 12-5 record while Stevens drops to 7-9 on the season. Goalie
Carly DeMarco (sr. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) made five saves for the victory. Stevens goalie Nicole Mottole (fr. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) totaled 14 stops. The Profs outshot the Ducks, 34-11.
Rowan was ahead 2-1 after the first half. Panzarino started the scoring at 11:41 with a pass from Boyle. Johnson produced the second tally (14:51) and Wagner had the assist. Frohlich scored Stevens' goal (32:49). In the second period, Wagner, Boyle, Christy and Galante each hit the cage one time.
Rowan returns home on Saturday, Oct. 28 for its final regular season game against Stockton University at noon.
