GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University athletic department is hosting a $15,000 Soccer Shot Challenge during halftime of the women's conference battle versus New Jersey City University on Wednesday, Sept. 21. The game kicks off at 7 p.m. at the Rowan Soccer Field.
Each Rowan student in attendance will be placed in a drawing to compete for the grand prize. At halftime, a ticket will be drawn and one student will be selected to come down to the field and participate in the challenge.
That student will be given the opportunity to kick a soccer ball through a target placed 18-yards out. If the participant successfully makes the shot, he/she will walk away with a grand prize of $15,000.
All contestants must show their Rowan student IDs before entering the drawing. Students who have competed in soccer at a collegiate level are not eligible to partake in the contest.
