Bridget Boyle scored three goals to lead the Rowan University field hockey team over Eastern University, 3-1 in front of 1,366 fans on Saturday afternoon.

Casey Wagner (fr. Sicklersville, NJ/Timber Creek Reg.) and back
Julie Johnson (fr. Mount Ephraim, NJ/Audubon) all chipped in with an assist.
The Profs are 5-2 overall and they have won five straight games. The Eagles drop to 1-5 on the season. Forward Ali Balmer (fr. Perkasie, PA/Christopher Dock) had Eastern's goal. Goalie Nicole Berger (jr. Palmyra, PA/Palmyra) stopped 11 shots.
Boyle (fr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) started the scoring at 12:07 with an assist from Irvin-Choy. Balmer tied the score (18:19) when she knocked in a rebound. In the second half, Boyle connected with Wagner (37:21) for a 2-1 advantage. She recorded the hat trick less than three minutes later and Johnson had the assist. Rosati hit the cage with the final goal on a pass by Aquino.
Next week, Rowan travels to Stevenson University on Tuesday, Sept. 20 for a 7 p.m. game.
