Box Score EWING, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team won its second straight New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship with a 1-0 victory at The College of New Jersey on Saturday evening.
The Profs (16-1-2) receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. The national bracket will be announced at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7 at ncaa.com. It was the first loss of the season for the Lions (16-1-1).

Goalkeeper
Shelby Money (so. Vineland, NJ/Vineland) recorded her 12
th shutout of the season. The NJAC Goalkeeper of the Year stopped eight shots. For TCNJ, goalie Jessica Weeder (sr. Lebanon, NJ/North Hunterdon) made three saves.
The Profs, the second seed, advanced to the conference final on penalty kicks, 4-2 over the third seed Montclair State University on Wednesday night. The top seeded Lions had a 4-0 shutout versus Kean University in the semifinals. Both teams received first round byes. In the last game of the regular season, TCNJ had a 2-0 win against Rowan on Oct. 26 in Ewing.
Last year, Rowan defeated TCNJ, 2-1 in overtime for the conference championship. The Profs also won the NJAC title in 2008. Rowan is making its 12
th appearance in the NCAA tournament. In 2015, the Profs advanced to the third round of the postseason.
