Box Score ST. DAVIDS, PA – The Rowan University women's soccer team shut out host Eastern University, 2-0 on Wednesday.
 
Both goals came in the first half.  Midfielder Megan Carchidi (sr. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.) hit the left side of the net at 10:56 with a cross in front from forward Shannon Reardigan (jr. Glassboro, NJ/Glassboro).  Forward Lauren Coletti (jr. Matawan, NJ/Old Bridge) scored at 35:14 and midfielder Kylie Kieffer (so. Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) had the assist.  Kieffer sent the ball from the right of the goal to Coletti who knocked it in.
 
The Profs are 11-0-1 overall and have yet to allow a goal this season.  The Eagles drop to 6-6 on the season.  Goalkeeper Shelby Money (so. Vineland, NJ/Vineland) stopped four shots for her ninth shutout.  Eastern goalie Adrianna Rowlands (so. Sinking Spring, PA/Wilson) made five saves in the first half while goalie Leah Lozzi (so. Bel Air, MD/Bel Air) had two saves in the second.
 
Next, Rowan is home on Saturday, Oct. 8 against conference opponent Montclair State University at 6 p.m.  The Red Hawks have a 10-1-1 record.
