Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ  – The College of New Jersey field hockey team scored two straight goals to win 3-2 at Rowan University on Tuesday night.
 
The score was tied at one after the first half.  Forward Rachel Galante (so. Mount Laurel, NJ/Collingswood) put the Profs ahead 2-1 at 62:45.  She blasted a shot just inside the circle after a penalty corner by back Skyler Pino (so. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City).  Back Lexi Smith (sr. Florence, NJ/Florence Twp.) scored on a penalty stroke (64:27), which made it 2-2.
 
At 66:29, midfielder/forward Jaclyn Douglas (sr. Malvern, PA/Great Valley) produced the winning goal with a pass by forward Elizabeth Morrison (jr. Stonington, CT/Stonington) from the right side of the cage. 
 
Rowan goalie Carly DeMarco (jr. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) stopped 11 shots.  TCNJ goalie Christina Fabiano (jr. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Hills) had two saves.  The Lions are 7-3 overall and 2-0 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.  The Profs have an 8-4 record with a 0-2 conference mark. 
 
Back Calya Andrews (fr. Hackettstown, NJ/Hackettstown) put the Lions on the scoreboard at 22:23.  She dribbled into the circle and hit the lower left side of the goal.  Midfielder Jacqui Rosati (so. Haddon Heights, NJ/Paul VI) evened the score (62:45) when she tapped in her rebound after Fabiano turned away the first shot. 
 
Rowan is home again on Friday, October 7 against Ramapo College at 6:30 p.m.
