Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ  – The Rowan University field hockey team won 1-0 over Stevens Institute of Technology on Wednesday night.
 
Back Abbie Tucker (jr. Voorhees, NJ/Eastern Reg.) scored the game-winner at 57:23.  She brought the ball inside the circle and blasted a shot into the cage.  Tucker has three goals this season.  Rowan is 10-4 overall and Stevens has an 8-6 record.
 
Goalie Carly DeMarco (jr. Gloucester City, NJ/Gloucester City) made two saves for her fourth shutout.  For the Ducks, goalie Emily Stuckenborg (sr. Stockholm, NJ/Wallkill Valley Reg.) stopped four shots.
 
Rowan travels to conference opponent Montclair State University on Saturday, Oct. 15 for a 1 p.m. game.
