#15/16 Rowan University travels to Newport News, VA to face new conference opponent Christopher Newport University on Saturday night. The Profs defeated Montclair State, 13-7 (Sept. 26) and the Captains are coming off a bye. Christopher Newport lost to #5/5 Wesley College, 44-24 (Sep. 19).

The Series
This is the seventh meeting between Rowan and Christopher Newport. The Profs and Captains played each other six straight seasons from 2002-2007. Rowan has won five out of the six games. Christopher Newport's victory came in 2007, 23-17.
