NJAC Women's Soccer BracketGLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team is home against The College of New Jersey in the title game of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Tournament on Friday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m.
The Profs (12-2-2) are the top seed in the conference tournament and the Lions (12-2-4) are seeded second. In the semifinals (Nov. 3), Rowan shut out the fifth seed Stockton University, 1-0 and TCNJ defeated the sixth seed Rutgers-Newark, 5-0. Both teams received a bye in the first round.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for children, students and senior citizens.
The first 100 Rowan students with ID receive a free ticket. Rowan athletic passes and student IDs are not accepted for postseason tournaments.
The NJAC champion receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. The national tournament selections will be announced on Monday, Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. with a selection show on NCAA.com.
This is the Profs' 13
th straight appearance in the conference tournament. Rowan won the NJAC Championship Tournament in 2008 and was the second seed. The Profs were seeded first in the conference tournament in 2011 and 2009.
Rowan clinched the number one spot with a 1-0 victory over TCNJ in the final game of the regular season (Oct. 29).
