Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team defeated Ramapo College, 1-0 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) game on Wednesday night.
 
Midfielder Danni Kitzinger (so. Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) scored the game-winner at 53:32.  It was her first goal on the season.  Kitzinger hit the right side of the net after a cross from forward Melissa Kelly (so. Parsippany, NJ/DePaul Catholic). 
 
The Profs are 8-1-1 overall and 3-0-1 in the conference.  The Roadrunners have a 6-3-1 record with a 1-2-1 NJAC mark.  Goalie Courtney Simpson (fr. Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) stopped four shots for her third shutout.  For Ramapo, goalkeeper Jessica Cusick (so. Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) had five saves.
 
Next, Rowan plays at Montclair State University on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 6 p.m.
