Box Score GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team won 1-0 over The College of New Jersey on Thursday night in the last game of the regular season. The Profs earned the top seed in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Championship Tournament.

Melissa Kelly (so. Parsippany, NJ/DePaul Catholic) scored the winning goal at 7:36. She hit the lower left side of the net after two quick passes from midfielder
Lisa Cella (jr. Middletown, NJ/Middletown N.) and forward
Tiffany Kelly (sr. Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany).
Rowan has an 11-2-2 record while TCNJ is 11-2-4 overall. Both teams finished 6-1-2 in the NJAC. The Profs are seeded first because of the conference tie-breaker rules and the Lions are the second seed. They will receive a bye in the first round of the NJAC Championship Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 31.

Shelby Money (fr. Vineland, NJ/Vineland) turned away seven shots for her fourth shutout. TCNJ goalie Jessica Weeder (sr. Lebanon, NJ/North Hunterdon) made three saves.
Rowan will host the winner of the first round game between the fourth seed Kean University and number five Stockton University in the semifinals on Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m. The final of the NJAC Championship Tournament is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 6 at the highest remaining seed.
