Box Score FREDERICKSBURG, VA – The University of Mary Washington women's soccer team won 2-1 over Rowan University on Sunday.
The Eagles captured the classic title and they are 4-0 on the season. The Profs have a 2-2 record. Rowan had a 3-0 shutout against Shenandoah University on Saturday and Mary Washington defeated the Coast Guard Academy, 2-0.

Erika Suhl (sr. Brick, NJ/Brick Mem.) scored the Profs' goal at 8:34 with an assist from midfielder
Victoria Camera (sr. Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton W.). Midfielder Jenna Abraham (sr. South Riding, VA/Freedom) knotted the score (15:37) on a penalty kick. Midfielder Lizzie Weast (jr. Midlothian, VA/Manchester) recorded the winning goal at 47:46 unassisted.
Rowan took 11 shots and Mary Washington had eight. For the Profs, goalie
Carleigh Trivino (so. Caldwell, NJ/Caldwell) made three saves. Eagles' goalkeeper Charlotte Owens (sr. Fairfax, VA/Robinson) stopped three shots.
Rowan travels to Ursinus College on Wednesday, September 10 for a 7:30 p.m. contest.
