Box Score UNION, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team won 2-0 at Kean University on Saturday evening.  The Profs ended the Cougars' six-game win streak.
 
Back Deandra Turchi (gr. Turnersville, NJ/Paul VI) produced the first goal on a penalty kick at 22:46.  Forward Erika Suhl (sr. Brick, NJ/Brick Mem.) added an insurance goal with 9:35 remaining.  Her shot hit the post and deflected into the net. 
 
Goalkeeper Carleigh Trivino (so. Caldwell, NJ/Caldwell) recorded her third shutout on the season. The Cougars and the Profs are both 6-2 overall.  It was the first New Jersey Athletic Conference game for both teams.  Kean goalie KC Nunez (jr. Fair Lawn, NJ/Immaculate Heart Academy) made eight saves.
 
Rowan plays at home against Rutgers-Newark on Saturday, September 27 at 3 p.m.
